Comissioned to do 24 Art Deco pieces for the four Mikimoto Boutiques (Manhattan, the Venecian in Las Vegas, Beverly Hills and Costa Mesa). The furniture was used in all the store windows consisting of small Christmas vignettes with Mikimoto's world class pearl jewelry.

Creds
Kari studied art and design at the Kansas City Art Institute and worked in advertising and design for over 25 years. In 2003, she discovered miniatures, quit her job and works from home doing what she loves. She uses her graphic skills to design and create the furniture and to make many of her own fabrics.
She lives in Chicago with her husband Scott and their dog Tilly.
